Thomas P. Butler, President & Senior Partner, is a recognized expert in strategy and message development, legal, crisis and earned media communications. He has worked on behalf of hundreds of clients involved in matters ranging from complex trials and litigation; Fortune 50 shareowner proxy fights; corporate, business, community and public affairs campaigns; and the introduction of new products, brands and concepts, all while establishing an extraordinary reputation with the media.

In 2018, Tom and the firm he leads were winners of the Public Relations Society of America – BIG APPLE AWARD for the Best Law Firm and Legal Marketing Campaign.  In 2016, the team took home the PRSA’s Best Business Campaign AND Best Public Affairs Campaign, beating out the nation’s top agencies and brands, for a campaign for the firefighters of the FDNY. For nearly 30 years, Tom has been a leading media strategist and adviser to clients as diverse as Inc. Magazine, Cornell University School of Industrial & Labor Relations, Siebert Cisneros Shank LLC, Hunts Point Cooperative Meat Market, BTIG LLC, Patriot Bank, NA., Windham Mountain Ski Resort, Hostelworld Group PLC., Mechanical Contractors Association of New York, Securitas USA, New York Fire Pension Fund, and New York State Troopers PBA, among numerous other entities and brands. For over 20 years and in the wake of the 9-11 attacks, Mr. Butler also directed communications for one of New York’s most prominent and respected labor organization, the Uniformed Firefighters Association of Greater New York.

Prior to founding the firm in 1996, Tom served as a Senior Vice President and Vice President respectively at two of New York’s largest independent PR agencies, managing public relations for publicly traded corporations, large real estate entities, technology firms, non-profits, and a variety of clients with significant image, legal, community and public affairs concerns.  

Mr. Butler serves as a director and key adviser to several major national business and philanthropic institutions and is past Chairman of the Board of the Council for Unity, a non-profit devoted to keeping school children out of gangs and getting them into college.

Jason Fink has spent his career working in the New York City and New Jersey media markets, as both a journalist and in public relations. A lifelong New Yorker, he has experience in both the private sector and in government. Client campaigns he directs run from coast-to-coast in some of the most highly respected and followed media outlets.

As City Editor at amNewYork, he led coverage of the Bloomberg Administration and the mayor’s campaign for a third term. He was featured on the radio for his coverage of Eliot Spitzer’s attempts at a political comeback and was recognized on Time Warner’s NY1 News for his stories on labor relations in the city.

As a reporter and editor at The Jersey Journal, Jason was recognized for his coverage of politics, breaking news and real estate development with several New Jersey Press Association (NJPA) and North Jersey Press Club awards. He won the NJPA overall news portfolio award for his coverage of City Hall in Jersey City and was recognized for his work covering 9/11 and its aftermath.

After leaving journalism, he served for five years with the Speaker of the New York State Assembly managing and directing local and statewide media and communications outreach.  Jason then served as a Deputy Press Secretary with the nation’s largest school system, the New York City Department of Education managing a sprawling media relations portfolio that included the School Construction Authority, all facilities, H.R., IT Infrastructure, busing, meals, student discipline, and more.


He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.
